Sparsha Foundation's Logo and launching date

Here is the Sparsha Foundation's Brand New logo... looking sooper cool. Logo has been designed by Mr. Lakshminarayan.

Its decided to launch the Foundation on 14th Nov, to syn with Children's Day. 2 schools has been identified. One Kirnalli(near Kamplapura, Periyapatna, Mysore,India) another one is Baslapura(nearer to Periyapatna town).

Planning to conduct Drawing competition for the Schools childrens. and still other activates needs to be finalized.

One more thing is sparsha will come with its own website... One can wait for brand new sparsha site. y'day domain name and space has been purchased. it might take another 10-15 days to lauch website.

Idea of a NGO

SPARSHA - Humanity touch -- together we can change

It all started with Mr.Lakshminarayan, Who is my childhood friend. He is the one who floated the idea of founding an Organisations which shall be helping for the needy.

The Idea of giving something to the Village[Taluk] we born, studied, got to learn so many things in life... To give back what we got had sparkled in our mind...

When Lakshmi told this to us[Raghu, Abhi, Harsha, Praveen, Shari, Yogi, Anil, Hari, Nagesha]. It was like something we are going to do, which we have never done before...

We all decided to meet to discuss more on this on 20th Sept, 2009 @Periyapatna,Mysore District. As he invited lot of his friends, but turned up very little.. we all met at Yogi's shop situated in Santhemala, Periyapatna. we thought of going for some good place where we could decide on the other aspects of the NGO.

We decided to go Bhimanakatte[towards Thitmatti], it was around 15 kms from Periyapatna, It was really cool place, an old dam, may be it was constructed at british time not sure...

we all sat up on a rock, had some snacks... and discussed core issues like Education, Health and Rural Development.

After everyone's Input the Name Decided for the Organisation was "SPARSHA FOUNDATION" A society for the poor one, to help the Needy[Initially School will be our main Agenda]

For any Foundations, it needs to be having board of members and some designation like President, VP, Treasury, Secretary,etc...

Harsha got elected as president and Raghu got elected as VP, Lakshmi got secretary positions.

At the end of meeting, it was decided to select one school which doens't have basic infrastructure, should be nearer to the Periyapatna also, so that atleast one can often visit the School to monitor the activities...

Then discussion happened for the Date of Launch, the tentative date was to be 14th Nov...

The programs for the Launching date like conducting health campaign for the school children's.... and some small cultural activities will be organised through School children's.

Now looking forward to the Launching program...
